Colorado's Cottage Foods Act prohibits baked goods with cream or cream cheese toppings and prohibits buttercream frosting unless made with ghee or vegetable oil. Cream cheese frosting is not permitted.
You can:

- ✓Use royal icing, room-temperature ganache, or fondant
- ✓Sell unfrosted baked goods under Colorado's cottage food exemption
You cannot:
